Exploring the Arts Policies

PRICING FOR EXPLORING THE ARTS CLASSES
~ Full Semester Tuition (15 classes): $150
~ Summer Tuition (10 classes): $100
~ Recital Fee (Primary Students Only *ages 3-5*): $20
~One-time registration fee: $15 per family
~Sibling Discount: 10% off of full tuition

*Tuition includes cost of full term (10-15 classes) & cost of “TMC Music Box”; which consists of various Montessori music instruments & in-home lessons.*

REGISTRATION
Registration obligates a family to pay tuition in full, registration fee, & recital fee prior to start date. Late enrollment tuition will be prorated. Semesters/quarters are based on calendar quarters:

Winter/Spring Semester: January – April
Summer Semester: May – August
Fall Semester: September – December

*"Exploring the Arts" recital for our Primary Pre-School students (ages 3-5) will be held at the end of each semester in a public location. Students will learn a host of songs with their teacher to present to family & friends. Recital dates & themes will be announced during each semester.*

BILLING
~ The amount due at registration will include the registration fee ($15), full tuition amount ($150; $100 for summer term), & recital fee ($20). Late entry to the program will result in full payment of a prorated tuition amount. Any student enrolled after the 5th class of the current semester will not be allowed to participate in the "Exploring the Arts" performance for that term. Instead, those students are highly encouraged to attend the performance to prepare for their future performance(s).
~ Upon registration, payment must be received & debit card must be placed on file within 72 hours of confirmation from The Musical Corner in order to complete registration.
~ Cash & debit/credit payment are acceptable over the phone & in person.
~ A $35 fee will apply to returned checks & declined credit card payment.
~ Notification to terminate enrollment must be provided to The Musical Corner via email (themusicalcornerllc@gmail.com) prior to the 23rd of the current month, if you do not wish to continue lessons into the next month/semester. If notification is not provided, a $50 cancellation fee will be deducted from the card on file. Refunds will not be provided.

ABSENCES & MAKE-UPS
~ Students are required to notify The Musical Corner at least 24 hours in advance of an absence in order to receive a make-up credit. No-shows will forfeit the opportunity for a make-up class.
~ Two (2) missed classes per semester may be made up by attending an Exploring Music class meeting on a different day/time than the student’s registered class. Missed classes must be made up within the same semester. If there is only one Exploring the Arts class, two (2) make-up classes will be scheduled at the end of the semester.
~ Cancellation due to inclement weather or teacher unavailability will be rescheduled for a later date in the semester. Families also have the option to attend an Exploring the Arts class meeting at a different day/time, in replacement for a cancellation.
~ Classes falling on national holidays (when The Musical Corner is closed) will be rescheduled for a time before or after the observation of that holiday.
~ All students give The Musical Corner the right to include their picture/likeness in any form of The Musical Corner’s advertising and/or media.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY
In consideration of my child’s participation in Exploring the Arts classes, I hereby waive and release, on behalf of myself, my child(ren), and any participating caregiver or relative accompanying my child(ren), The Musical Corner, LLC, its owner, affiliates, respective employees, representatives, agents, and all other related entities from and against any and all liability, loss, damage, injury, claim, cost, or expense of any kind arising from or in connection with the participation or attendance in this program.
